FLOWERS IN THE CRAGS Written By Ralph C. Walls
Writing a book was the last thing on his mind.  But because of a promise he made to his dying wife he sat down at a keyboard and began to write this tribute to honor her.  However, before she died she asked one request of him that was to change the entire outcome of the story.  To find out what it was you will have to read the book.

Ralph was born in Morristown, New Jersey and for the first twelve years of his life lived on a farm.  When the state of New Jersey decided to make the area where the farm was located a reservoir his family had to move out and find other employment.  His father quickly learned the drywall trade and began to teach his sons also.  By the time Ralph graduated High school he had mastered the trade and a few years later began his own business.  Since he had grown up watching others build houses and his job had been to cover up their mistakes with the finished walls and ceilings he decided to try his hand at the complete project.  So in the early seventies he obtained his builders license and began to build homes.  For the next three decades he contiued in the drywall and building business.  He is now retired and currently living in Florida with his wife.  They have four children and five grandchildren.  Ralph currently serves on the local board of Mennonite Disaster Service and helps with relief efforts when disasters strike.  He has been on mission projects to Haiti and Hungary.  He is also actively teaching and discipling in his church.
His favorite pastime is bicycling and now writing.  He currently has two more books under way and ideas for many more, if the Lord tarries.
"Writing Flowers in the Crags was a very emotional experience with many tears being shed.  It is my prayer that it will touch your heart as you read it.".........Ralph
